Person Centered Kids
Welcome to Person Centered Kids, where we use the person-centered approach to work with children. Our goal is to equip parents, caregivers, educators, and therapists with the necessary resources to foster children’s emotional and social development with this approach.
The person-centered approach is a humanistic approach to therapy that emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. It recognizes that every child is unique and has the potential to grow and develop in their own way. By providing a supportive and non-judgmental environment, we can help children feel valued, heard, and understood, which is essential for their emotional and social development.
At Person Centered Kids, we believe that the person-centered approach is the most effective way to support children’s growth and development. Our website offers a wide range of resources, including articles, workshops, practical tips, and advice, to help parents, caregivers, educators, and therapists apply the principles of the person-centered approach in their work with children.
Our goal is to empower you to create a more person-centered world for kids. We invite you to explore our website, connect with our community, and share your experiences. Together, we can help children thrive and reach their full potential.
Our Mission
At Person Centered Kids, our mission is to create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment that supports the growth and development of children based on the core principles of the Person-Centered Approach developed by Carl Rogers.
We believe that every child is unique and has the potential to grow and thrive when provided with the right conditions and support. Our focus is on creating a space where children feel heard, valued, and respected as individuals. We believe in building positive relationships with children and families based on trust, honesty, and empathy.
Our programs are designed to promote the development of the whole child – emotionally, socially, intellectually, and physically. We believe in creating opportunities for children to explore and discover their interests and passions, to develop their skills and talents, and to build confidence and self-esteem.
At Person Centered Kids, we strive to provide a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters growth, learning, and positive development for all children.
